The main themes of this comic opera are highlighted and is essence is revived in this splendid musical adaptation by Julio Awad. A "Christmas" opera about the search for a winning lottery ticket presumably lost in the laundry.

The scenario for this comedy is a laundry where a granddaughter arrives with her delightful grandmother to wash her clothes while the Christmas lottery draw is being called on the radio. Suddenly her grandmother starts to tell the story of happened to her exactly 60 years before.
